It all begins with a feeling—the feeling of dysmorphia. The instability of one’s self. A different state of mind, scattered, like pieces of evidence at a crime scene. Connected yet cleaved. Each fragment holds a clue, an insight into the turmoil that rages within. These shards of the mind reflect distorted images of who we are, and who we might become.

If you think about it, it's all in your head.

No one else completely knows you, no matter how well they can interpret a person's thoughts based on their physical appearance. Unless they're a wizard, they can never fully understand you.
